I recently wrote about the Top 10 Movies (That I had seen) of 2011. To refresh my memory on what came out this year I checked out Boxofficemojo.com’s Top 100 grossing movies. What I’ve now realized is that in doing so I have overlooked one of my favorite films that came out this year, James Gunn’s dark indie action comedy, Super! This movie is amazing. It’s what Kick-Ass would have been if it were more kick-ass. Don’t let the bright colors and the funny jokes fool you- this movie super dark and gory. I really don’t want to say too much more about this film because it’s a really fun ride. Just go on it!
