This looks much better than the first film. I could see this being a really cool movie franchise if they can get it closer to the original roots.
The Good:
The Rock as Roadblock works. Seems like he’s carrying the film now instead of the craptastic Duke played by that cross-eyed beefy dude.
Ray Stephenson as Firefly seems wicked cool.
Cobra Commander seems to have a proper helmet now.
Cool ninja action!
Snake Eyes doesn’t have lips!
Jinx looks good.
Zartan as the President taking over the White House = awesome!
The Bad:
No Destro or Baroness -WTF!? This is MAJOR bad.
No Scarlett, Hawk, Flint.
Maybe too much Rock.
The Ugly:
Bruce Willis cameo. As if this wasn’t already the Expendibles 2.
The producers knew the first movie sucked, so they seemed to kill off most of the characters from it. Hopefully the 2nd rung characters can hold their own. Also… Sgt. Slaughter should be in it.
